I love her artwork! She had a way of capturing the innocence and wonder of babies and children. Bessie lived from 1876-1960 and she attended the Philadelphia School of Design for Women; the same school Jessie Willcox Smith had attended ten years earlier. She started her career with commissioned work and was later inspired by her own children Alice, Lucille, and John. I found this particular print and it reminded me of someone so close to me......
