brave girl

every day i get quotes from the brave girls club
i can always use more "brave" in my life
today the quote said:
that in this very instant i am becoming
what i am meant to be in the first place
and that i am growing my wings and preparing to fly
i like the sound of that

what 30 weeks looks like

luke is at 30 weeks in my tummy
and i am still crafting and creating
here are some of my favorite images from around our home at the moment
and the craft bug is rubbing off on others
brock used a glue stick for the first time this week and joe patched a hole in the ceiling!

sew: baby nursery sweets

i sewed a changing pad cover from some beautiful aqua towels
and a banner with colorful triangles
and these are some fabric blocks-still trying to perfect them so they are more square and less round
i love the colors yellow and aqua and turquoise!

sew: a baby blanket

here is a simple patchwork blanket i sewed for my baby luke
it is fairly small in size about 27 x 27 inches but then again babies are small so it will work!
the main fabric was purchased in portland and the other side is dark aqua colored flannel from my beloved walmart-i turned the corner up so you could see its brilliant color
i really like it
i think luke will too
